My wife and I lived here for 2 years and we absolutely loved it. We are leaving for a job on the other side of the country, but if we could take this community with us we would. Non-urgent work orders were sometimes slow to be processed, but the work always got done. Some staff turnover, but everyone was friendly and helpful. Great neighborhood with a dog park within walking distance.

Do NOT rent here! Run away! I really regret moving to Sunnydale. The walls and ceiling are so thin, you will hear your neighbor cough, snore, talk, etc. If your upstairs neighbor's kids run around inside their apartment, it will feel as if your ceiling is about to collapse. If your neighbor smokes, even if you keep your windows closed, your apartment will actually get secondhand smoke in it. This is very bad for your health. Although the manager is nice, she cannot help you, because they don't have a "no smoking" policy. There is no security at night, so you're on your own. The swimming pool will be often occupied by screaming kids who don't even live at Sunnydale, they climb over the fence. You will hear the airplanes overhead since you're near the airport. Because you're very close to International Blvd, you'll hear police sirens every day. Several times, we've had the cops actually block our side street and demand ID, before allowing us to drive on this street. This is not a safe neighborhood, do not be fooled. The rent continues to increase, while the quality of the buildings does not improve. If you have a "new" dryer in your apartment, it does not have a "low" setting, so some of your clothes are going to shrink. I have heard they were planning on charging a fee per month for each vehicle you park there--but how can they enforce that, without any security team? Meanwhile, people who do not even live at Sunnydale park their cars in the Sunnydale visitor parking. It's true that the pool really does get to be a disgusting green color at certain times of the year.

The worst place to live, police always outside, office very rude and so many managers in one year. Increased 300$ in a year for one bedroom. They pay nothing. Not recommended at all.

I guess it's OK it's just it's small and only has two bed rooms and even thought I'm a little kid doesn't mean I can't judge the apartment
